Jane Virgilio

Jane Virgilio has spent her career working in the IT field with a program/project management focus. She is currently participating in the SLC Spiritual Direction Internship Program. She continues to be a facilitator for a social justice formation program in her parish, a role she has held for 17 years. It is this long term formation experience that led her to pursue programs with a focus to spiritual growth. She participated in the Genesis School of Contemplative Living, an experience which has been life opening and life changing for her. Jane’s focus in life is about serving others. She is a co-lead for the Sandwiches Ministry, a parish initiative where lunches are made and other items gathered weekly and distributed to folks who are homeless in downtown Springfield. She joined the SLC staff in April and considers it another way to serve, to assist in lifting up the many programs offered for others to have the opportunity to encounter the greater possibilities.
