We invite you to join us on zoom for Monday Meditation. We welcome all levels, including beginners, to be supported by this group practice. Meditation has many positive health benefits including the reduction of anxiety and stress and helps us to be more present in our lives.
Together we’ll be exploring mindfulness meditation, healing breath work, and compassion (metta) practice.
We will meeti on Zoom on Mondays at 1 PM: 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/13 and 3/20.
Join Ellen Graham, an experienced Spiritual Director, as she leads us through mindful meditation and compassion practice. Ellen has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and specialized in cardiac care. She became a Spiritual Director in 2004 and has been providing Spiritual Direction through the Spiritual Life Center since then. She’s also part of the youth retreat team at Holy Family Retreat Center where she taught Centering prayer. She and her husband have two daughters and two young grandsons.
Ellen’s been facilitating mindfulness meditation groups since 2015 and is a graduate of the MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) program. She has a deep interest in Meditation and has taken many other courses including Tara Brach’s “The Power if Awareness.”
She is a certified yoga instructor who believes in the mind-body connection & the power of mindful presence.
