Louise Colletti has been a spiritual director for more than 15 years and was a member of the Spiritual Direction Internship instructional team at the Spiritual Life Center for eight years. She is also a spiritual direction supervisor, a member of Spiritual Directors International and is recognized by the BioSpiritual Institute as an advanced level BioSpiritual Focusing instructor.
Louise began her career as an educator on the elementary and secondary levels. She then became a Marriage and Family therapist and worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, including mental health centers and group homes. In addition, she served as the Program Director for
Mary’s Place: A Center for Grieving Children and Families for eighteen years. During this time, she also taught collegiate level courses on Family Life and Psychology.
As a certified Bereavement Facilitator, she has made many presentations and offered professional in-service programs on grief and loss. Louise is also the co-author of
Leaving a Spiritual Legacy: Writing a Spiritual Will which is a guidebook for elders to leave a written record of their wisdom and life insights to their posterity.
In addition to enjoying being with spiritual seekers, family and friends she cherishes long walks, biking, swimming, reading and traveling. She currently is retired and lives on Cape Cod with her husband, Joe.
